Stephanie Reardon, Liane Granger, Michael Robertson and David Wansell have all joined the Gosforth-based firm in roles which will enable them to broaden their business experience, continue to develop their financial knowledge and learn from senior members of the RMT team.
Reardon has joined the firm as an audit senior, after spending seven years with another North East practice. A fully qualified accounting technician, she is now going to be working her way towards full ACCA qualification with support from her new employer.
Originally from Lincolnshire, Granger came to the region to study for a business management degree at Newcastle University, and decided to stay after graduating in 2008.
Having first joined a small local firm, she has moved to a senior accountant position at RMT, and has responsibility for a wider role across clients’ accounts preparation requirements and business advice needs alike.
Robertson achieved his AAT qualifications after taking up an accountancy apprenticeship after he left school at age 18.
He is now working towards full ACCA qualification with the support of his new employers, and is primarily working with RMT’s SME client base to help meet their compliance and advisory business requirements.
Wansell is currently working towards his AAT qualifications, which he expects to complete by next summer before moving on to full ACCA qualification.
He has joined RMT from another Newcastle practice where he began his training, and is now carrying out a range of compliance and general accounting duties.
